🧭 Listening, Learning, Leading with Honest Medicine

The last few years have left many in our community reeling—not just from the direct impacts of disease, but from the confusion, frustration, and heartbreak that followed in the wake of pandemic policies, mandated interventions, and the all-too-often impersonal machinery of modern medicine.

Reading reflections like TommyWalksHills’ recent post brings these realities into focus:

“I have easily lost 60 folks in the last 2 years in my community, most likely cancer due to vax not covid…
…There are a ton of folks living in personal ‘shame’ as they try to believe the vaccines they received are legit. They ‘got sucker punched.’…
…IMA needs some type of almost pastoral approach, and large scale training, to understanding SHAME as a gateway blocking good attempts to help them.”

Many here have lived some version of this—reminding us that medicine is about restoring dignity and real solutions, not just protocols.

🔎 Why IMA Exists: For Honest Answers, Real Lives

We are here to insist on honest medicine—research shaped by our members’ lived experiences, guided by compassion, and open to truths others may ignore.

📰 Journal of Independent Medicine: Calls for Papers

Our Journal’s mission is to give voice to the experiences and evidence too often sidelined elsewhere—reaching those patients seeking answers, loved ones searching for hope, and practitioners wanting guidance beyond profit or politics.

    💡 Treating Post-Vaccine Complications

So many here know someone affected by possible vaccine-related adverse effects—ranging from fatigue and brain fog to serious diagnoses.

    We seek:

    • Mechanistic studies
    • Diagnostic and care approaches
    • Effective treatment strategies
    • Evidence-based narratives from both patients and clinicians

    Purpose:
To move from confusion to clarity, and from isolation to meaningful progress.

🌱 Repurposed Drugs & Nutraceuticals for Chronic Disease

When standard options run out, repurposed therapies or nutraceuticals offer hope. Many on this forum understand that need firsthand.

    We seek:

    • Research and case reports on innovative medical approaches
    • Real-world accounts of integrating these therapies
    • Focus on accessibility and patient-centered outcomes

    Purpose:
Because everyone deserves more than a one-size-fits-all answer—especially when conventional pathways fall short.
