Being a moderator means you can adjust or remove content that violates our rules or causes harm to the community.
We are working on those guides as we build out volunteer moderators.
Members can report users and posts and the moderation team can then act on those posts, marking them as spam, moving to trash, moving to a more appropriate space, editing to add notes (like Twitter Community Notes feature), or kick/ban users from the group for repeated abuse.

Time commitment?

It depends on the activity of the group. Currently, things are calm, so very little time is needed to review content or reports.
