Good morning, I was concerned to see that you were recommending baby formula. The safest choice for feeding infants is mother‘s milk. There are a few instances when this cannot be done and formula is necessary, but they are not very often. And as a sidenote, powdered formula is never sterile and has been recalled on many occasions, and there have even been infant deaths related to this. Tristan, your food is sitting here well I’m waiting for you to come. As an IBCLC it always concerns me when I see formula being recommended and breast milk, not even mentioned. Even know if the status is for baby and also to prevent mini complications long-term

The 3rd resource is human milk banks. The problem with goats ‘ milk is it lacks B vitamins. I know there are no commercial formulas, but I’ve not seen a lot of research on that. The biggest concern as I’ve said with formula is powdered formula is not sterile and has been recalled in many cases for bacteria, bug parts, metal, and other contaminants. It has caused severe illness and death in certain cases. If someone must use formula, it should be the prepackaged sterilized liquid. It is more expensive, but it is worth the child’s life.
