I have a dear friend on blood thinners, who takes D3 but says she cannot take K2 because of the clotting potential. How much K2 do you take with your now-5,000iu of D3? I wish she had either a functional med doc or a naturopath, but in the area we&#8217;re in, it&#8217;s matrix medicine all the way. Given my issues, above, I will pass on&hellip;</p>

I took D3 for years without ever hearing of the need for K2 with it &#8212; and developed some heavy calcification in my aorta! I also now have a heart murmur, not sure it&#8217;s related. But I dutifully take 200mcg K2 with my 5,000iu D3. I do fine, still, even with fairly heavy exercise, so I probably lucked out. Whew! But I wish I&#8217;d known earlier.</p>
