Most of us probably don’t think much about where our medicines come from. We get a prescription, go to the pharmacy or hospital, and assume it will be there.
But what happens when it isn’t?
Dr. Joseph Varon’s latest article looks at shortages of basic medicines and supplies, antibiotics, IV fluids and other essentials, and how dependent the U.S. has become on fragile supply chains.

and I happened to be looking at recalls last week (at https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts) and was shocked that half of them are iv medications. IV saline, ringers, lactate, and glycerin. I presume those are the three most commonly used IV medications. For having metallic particles in em.
